Childbirth Phobia

Through symbolic representation of a series of physical changes of women after childbirth, the project aims to challenge the stereotypical perceptions and traditional aesthetics of the female body.

A range of representative objects involved in the female reproductive process are selected. In addition, the work hopes to relieve women’s anxiety about childbirth and encourage them to break through the constraints of mainstream social aesthetics. Because these aesthetics are still male-oriented, women need to rediscover and accept themselves.
